Custom Editing
Many editing companies divide their editing services into different editing levels such as proofreading, copyediting, substantive editing, etc., with many conflicting definitions of what these terms mean. Our experience is that these often overlap because needs overlap; this can be confusing to you, the client.
At EditMe, we like to keep it simple: We do what needs to be done.
We check grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, format, vocabulary, clarity and tone, as well as redundancies, word choice, and audience appropriateness. When necessary, we will also paraphrase, rewrite, reorganize, fact check, and critique your text.
If you want, we can also write your content for you. (Note to students: No, we will not write your paper for you!).
